I am a mother, grandmother, new author, and entrepreneur. I have an education background. Even with my busy life, I find time to do things that I enjoy.

I discovered my love for writing as a young child. I wrote different pieces of writing as a young child through my teenage years. I wrote stories, songs, poems, letters, and daily journals entries. Although, I enjoy many facets of writing, my passion was always poetry. For me, writing poetry is a form of therapy. It is a means of self-expression. During my 20’s and 30’s, I did not have the urge to write. I did try but never completed the task. I discovered that I had writer’s block.

It was not until 2023, when I was going through some life changes, that I had the urge to write poetry again. It came back to me so naturally. I vowed to share my gifts with the world so that I will not lose it. Since then, I have written so many poems and shared random thoughts, which I refer to as, “Just a Thought” to different social media platforms. I also finished my first book of poetry, Naked, in January 2025.
